In Australia, an estimated 200,000 persons are autistic, with autism the most important major incapacity group served by the NDIS. Globally, about one in 100 youngsters are autistic.
Lead researcher, UniSA’s Dr. Kobie Boshoff, says help is urgently wanted in colleges to help the educational wants of youngsters with autism. Occupational therapists are among the many help companies which are ideally positioned to offer help to colleges. The analysis is revealed in The American Journal of Occupational Remedy.
