A new study of more than 700,000 US veterans reports that people who adopt eight healthy lifestyle habits in middle age can expect to live significantly longer than those who have few or none of these habits. A University of Otago study has added weight to the evidence that too much television watching in childhood can lead to poor health in adulthood.
